Leading West Australian health and aged care provider Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc. plans to develop a contemporary integrated service delivery offering at the Kaleeya Hospital site in East Fremantle.

Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc. CEO Errol Turner said the site would allow Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc. to meet the growing demand for contemporary aged care services.

“There is a growing need for aged care services in the East Fremantle region.  Our aim for the site is to provide a contemporary integrated health and wellness service that will improve long-term care and health outcomes for our clients.”

“In many instances the elderly bounce between care facilities and hospitals creating significant health issues and deterioration to their overall well-being. Our integrated approach is an innovative step forward that provides for a seamless health and aged care service model in one location that will result in better health and care outcomes for the elderly”  said Errol Turner.

Existing hospital services and patients are being relocated to Fiona Stanley and Fremantle hospitals.
