Home Care clients and families invited to join discussion groups
How will research be conducted?
Research will be conducted in two stages which will include discussion groups, telephone interviews and an online survey.
Stage 1 – Discussion Groups
The discussion groups will be held at the SSC Tony Quinlan Respite Centre, the SCC Donovan Respite Centre and the Bunbury ECU campus. Each group will run for approximately 2 – 2.5 hours. Light refreshments will be provided. SCC (WA) can also assist with transport if required.
The options for the discussion group are as follows:
Metro
- 22 May 2023 – 3pm – 5pm at the SCC Tony Quinlan Respite Centre
- 24 May 2023 – 3pm – 5pm at the SCC Donovan Respite Centre
Bunbury
- 29 May 2023 – 10am to 12pm at the ECU Bunbury Campus

Stage 2 – Telephone Interviews and Online Surveys
During June and July 2023, clients will also be invited to participate in a telephone survey. An online survey will also be sent to family caregivers by email to complete.
